im taking my b16 tranny off tonight (dont ask why) and i got it all off, almost, its spred apart from the block about half inch all the way around.... no matter how much a giggle and pull it wont come off, its like its jammed or somehting... the crank turns, and i tried prying it off with a big wrench ( no pry bar) nothing seems to work... please help me, i know theres alot of smart late nighters out there

 

did u remove all the two bolts on the rear motor mount? also check to see if you are not hitting any part of the lca, completely remove the top tranny mount, and the front tranny mount. tilt the engine down a bit making sure there is enough clearance to slide the tranny out, supporting both the tranny and the engine with hyrdraulic jacks. now try to slide the tranny out while prying. make sure you removed the starter bolts and the FLYWHEEL COVER
