im taking my b16 tranny off tonight (dont ask why) and i got it all off, almost, its spred apart from the block about half inch all the way around.... no matter how much a giggle and pull it wont come off, its like its jammed or somehting... the crank turns, and i tried prying it off with a big wrench ( no pry bar) nothing seems to work... please help me, i know theres alot of smart late nighters out there

 

make sure its not hitting the mount.

but I use a jack and support it and then tilt it then raise it then slide it off

 

its not hiting the mount... and its on a jack, but should i have the jack as far down as it goes, or up around where the motor is suppose to sit?

 

take the jack and raise the tranny and then move it towards the passenger side fender then go from there

 

Are you sure all bolts are off? take the starter out too?!?

 

Did you take off the plate that gaurds the flywheel? That happend to me before.

i didnt take that off, am i supposed to

 

Yeah, take it off cause it connects to your tran and engine.
