400 hp BUILT H22 EG Civic TURBO... "THE CIV" is FOR SALE!!!!!
I am selling my pride and joy! This is a 1992 Honda Civic Hatchback with a CLEAN title! I built this car for road racing, drag racing, and autocross, as well as street driving. It has seen just 3 drag strip appearances, where it ran 12.3 at 110 miles per hour (missed a shift), and 12.4-12.5 at 116-117 miles per hour on STREET tires/PUMP GAS! I have competed in two autocross events and received First place in the very first event in this car!
The engine is a fully built turbocharged H22 (complete specs listed below). Engine has less than 20K on it, and has PERFECT compression. Compression tests show 175-180 psi on all cylinders. New turbo and new Falken Azenis tires have less than 5K miles on them, tires were purchased on April 26, 2004. I have RECEIPTS showing date of purchase for EVERYTHING! Receipts alone, including JUST PARTS EXCEED $22,000! I couldn't believe it myself!
Engine management is run by an AEM EMS standalone ECU and the car gets just over 20 miles per gallon. It drives beautifully through town, stop-and-go traffic and would make a great daily driver! The AEM EMS was tuned by Sean McElderry of TORQUEFREAKS in Portland Oregon for .9 BAR of boost which made this car extremely reliable.
I am also including two additional GRAM LIGHT wheels (Yes, even my drag tires are mounted on Gram Lights, so you get a total of 6 wheels!) with 255/50r16 BF Goodrich drag radials mounted on them, so drag racing is a simple switch of wheels! Also included is 2 additional rear struts with Skunk2 drag launch (900 lb) rear springs and additional coilover perches for height adjustment!
I have all the dyno sheets, time slips, first place trophies, and compression test results, and receipts available to the buyer! I would be more than happy to sit down with the buyer and show him/her anything they need to see before purchasing my baby!
I also have video of the car running at the drag strip and video of the car on the dyno if further proof is needed!

Bump. good luck Reid. To anyone who is interested, I have been around this car ALOT. It's scary fast, It pulls in 4th gear like my h22 hatch pulls in 2nd. It's clean and well taken care of. It has been through very little in it's life, but still drives flawlessly on 4hour road trips. Nearly 400whp(it's not tuned for pure HP numbers BTW), reliable, clean, tasteful, HONDA. what more needs to be said?.........................John

Thanks for the bumps guys I really appreciate it. The price is set for the enthusiast that wants the cheapest way to a super-built Honda. Building a honda on your own time, with your own money is WAY, WAY more expensive than buying mine! I spent over $22,000 just in parts, and the majority of those parts were purchased at wholesale prices! That figure doesn't include the original price of the car either, or any of my labor!
I just really want the car to go to a good home. Whoever buys her will appreciate her I am sure of it! I love this car, it's just time for something else for me.
