I've been seriously considering making my Prelude a project to see how far I can push the limits of the stock block. I have an H23 VTEC untuned that I was going to put nitrous on after the tuning. I have the kit ran and installed, just the bottle and noids are pulled. I also have a Starion i/c and an MSD 6-BTM box sitting at home that I got at a price I couldn't pass up!

Since I can't get a new car till I get out of college, I have been workin on saving for a turbo for the Prelude, but I was going to spray until then.

Well locally there's a pretty good deal on a used Drag 4 kit......under $2k. I figured I could pick that up, throw it on, use my VAFC w/ a set of DSM 450's and the MSD box and ditch the crappy FMU.

Here's my questions:

- What size turbo does the kit come with?
- How big is the Drag intercooler?
- The kit is for a 5th gen. My mind says there's nothing really that wouldn't be interchangeable for my 4th gen, but I would like to hear some others' opinions on this. Will it bolt up?

 

it comes with a t3/t4 hybrid turbo... the interco0ler im not sure...

Well like what trim, the compressor size, etc. I don't know much about turbo sizes, but i know I want the E trim, and a .50 a/r or bigger.

 

i gots the drag gen 4 kit.. if you can get it for 2g's i would go for it, i have pics of the intercooler.. just hit me up and i can send them to you


i think the compressor is .63 trim??


btw the manifold doesnt fit usually.. i had to grind down the drivers side on the flange to get it to clear the alternator/ac bracket
