addendum:

Take them off and paint the body.

Leave them alone.

Shave them off.

Take them off and leave the indentation there.

What does this look like? I've only seen it done on EGs.

Honestly, JDM thin side moldings on a street are pointless. on a show car they're ok. reason being, on a street car, how are the jdm thin moldings gonna protect ur car from door dings. the stock ones barely help, thin ones are gonna help even less. so in essence ur paying to downgrade ur car. just paint ur stock ones man. jdm thin moldings are a useless as clock blockers

either way its fine..

moldings are there for a reason! Unless i never drove my car then i would prolly just take them off since IMO they look better w/o it. but if you Drive your car anywhere ( as i dO ) then you know that in some cases you might come across a TIGHT parking spot!! In which case the ******* you park next to you will undoubtly swing/kick his/her door open and dent up your JDM do0r ...

either way ur $$ ur car.. just use commone sense

Personally, I think the JDM mouldings are harldy noticable anyway, so it's a waste of money imo. I would rock no mouldings over JDM for sure.

I like unpainted USDM moldings, but it depends on the color of the car. JDM moldings just dont do it for me.
