SCCA solo2 STS class. To anyone else in solo2, does the points system they keep have to do with anything like a prize at the end of the season or a regional event invitation or something of the sort?

Your local region will usually tally up the class points at the end of the year, and award class champions as a result. Congrats on your win!

That's quite an improvement over 4 runs. I think I've hit a plateau, my times usually vary now by no more than 4-5 tenths, from 1st to 4th run, or however many we get in that particular day. I need to break through to the next level...

My last event I ran a 53.925, 54.163, 53.623 +1, 53.850

that's good - imagine if you had another four runs though... you may have been able to improve even more.

i think your next objective should be consistency... if all your runs are within 1 second of eachother, you know you're reaching your limit or at least hitting some kind of plateau.

still though, good job

i do the same thing

this past sunday my first time was 69.xx then dropped down to 66.xx, 65.xx, and 64.xx progressively. I almost always get used to the course on my first run to make sure i don't go OC.

On the slalom's i have a technique, but i'm still kinda new at it. I just try to focus on throttle control and avoiding skidding as much as possible.
