Default very cheap zc interstate BEAST!

This is my story on how i found a interstate beast

I got a 91 hf crx soon after i droped in a dohc zc. After buying the zc for 500 shipped and then having to replace the **** up head that http://www.alljapaneseengine.com sent me.(thats web site seems to not be any more.)
headers, intake, stage 2 center force racing clucth, 89 teg ecu and other part i was out of $ so i stuck with the hf tranny.
Not all to fast off the line but a big jump for the hf eng. little did i know how fast it was on the interstate. one night we all rolled like 20 deep down to the track on the way back i messed with a few of the guy kill all of them i would have to say the fastest was a 99 gsr or a 91 accord with hell work done to it. i raced all of the and made them look like they were parked the gsr didnt even hang with me. so finaly i got beat. by what? a motorcycle.
i was hangin with 04 s2000's they got me when i went to 3rd to
Why is this setup so quick? Well the hf tranny goes to almost 100 so at 70 on the interstate when they drop into 3 i go to 2nd and ride 2nd til 100 by that time your to far to pass. it over

but i did the si tranny swap and now i miss the hf
so i say if you are looking for a fast tranny for the freeway or interstate hit up the hf
i only wish i knew what this would be like with a trubo?

sorry its so long but i know there are some ppl out there who will find this interesting

any one with this setup pls comment

Why not use a dx tranny and have the best of both worlds.
Decent acceleration with a high top end.

That's funny...you think the HF tranny is fast....

Honestly you're not getting the full potential of the swap unless you get the Si trans

You're Trans is basically yourtorque multiplier so
you're HF 3.25 FD vs. Si 4.25 FD
you do the math

that "math" also has to calculate the gear ratio's, not just the FD

Holy Crap I never new that?
more math involved using the gear ratio?
who would have thought?
hmmm i wonder whose gears are gonna be tighter???
the Si or HF????
Geez lemme waste my time and look in the Helms to find out
instead of realizing the HF gearbox is a useless except for 5th gear

Zxi/ZC hybrid coming soon

i just found it interesting how quick is was on the interstate and i think it is really funny that a lil f'n D series with only bolt ons can hang with a 04 s2000 at a 70 drop

Sooo whens the last time you hung with a 04 s2000 ?

for **** talkers
