Will a faulty combination switch cause the following things?
1. Turn on left turn signals, all lights flash, inclding gauge lights.
2. With headlights on, left turn signal icon stays lit, left turn signal dosnt work
3. With headlights on, all left turn signal lights stay on.
Could this be a bad ground?
What grounds should I check?
Is it the combination swtich?
How much does a combination switch usually cost from a junkyard?
Is it possible theres a short?
Ask me any questions about whats its doing, and maybe I can answer them.

That is a normal problem with combination switches. What year is your car??
*edit never mind, I assume its a '89 from your name**
The price from Honda new is $148. I just changed out my friends switch which was doing similar things in which you described. It is very easy to do. I pulled a couple of sets from the junkyard @ $30 each.
What you need mainly in this pic is #11, which is $105 from honda, but it is best to buy the whole assembly for $150 or hit the junkyards.

The extra one that I have is a '91 combo. switch. This may not work in 88-89's though. Thats why I pulled two. The job itself is VERY easy. You take the steering wheel off, unscrew 4 little screws holding it on, and pull it out.
