Default Do i have to use high-temp paint on my valve cover?

Hey guys, quick question, i was thinkin of painting my valve cover....and a couple ppl said i have to use "high temp paint" on it, but do i have to use that? or can i go to a paint store n just pick up a can, because theres more selections of colors at an automotive paint store than the high-temp ones.....i dont care if it flakes off, i just dont want any kinda SMOKE from under my hood...

I agree. I painted mine with automotive paint and clearcoat, and it held up for 3 years, before I changed it for a different one.

You can paint it with ordinary acrylic or lacquer spray paint.
I had this done for 2 years now and still looks OK. Just clean it well before spraying for a good adhesion.

Bisi uses dual mikunis (I'm pretty sure) and its far from stock, but carbs are prob a lot easier to tune on the fly, especially if thats what you grew up w/.
