who uses bigger sway bars for auto x?
i notice we can upsize the rear to 23mm and higher.
really want to get feedbacks of those people that use front sway bar size that is larger than the rear.

i noticed once i switched to itr sway bar with beaks kit, the left side endlink bolt came out twice after serious abuse use.
i even put red thread lock on the endlink bolts.
i think it's wise to go with comptech. there was a guy on this forum with the whole subframe replaced. it looked like an all aluminum piece. looked sweet. probably stronger too?

I am using a DA Integra front bar with the stock rear bar on my CRX Si. However, I do have 500f/600r spring rates.
I installed the larger front bar to balance the car out more; it was a bit too tail-happy for my preferences with the stock bars and 500f/600r springs. Now the car is pretty much neutral, if not biased a tad toward understeer. I like to trail brake

i could agree with you. i think if i get a bigger front sway bar it could help in my driving style.
nothing would hurt to try. i could always swap it back.

It all depends upon car setup, spring rates, etc. There is no magical number for front bar size vs. rear bar size.
For instance, my ITR loved a larger rear bar, but my 91 Civic hated it. This was in conjunction with the springrates that I chose because I'd rather tune the suspension that way instead of with big, heavy swaybars.

8k springs all around with 22 rear bar and 24 front bar originally, understeered alittle too much but overall was neutral and could be brought around by letting off slightly.
i just removed the front bar a few days ago, seems to improve overall grip but car does lean more, still understeers at limit which i hate.
im changing the springs to 10/12 next week and will leave the front bar disconnected for the time being.
btw removing the front bar did not change the behavior of the car that much, seemingly gave the front end more traction but it is still scrubbing alittle in front before the tail comes out. i thought it would have a greater effect. however, accelerating out of corners is better now and the car is not a harsh over bumps and potholes.

well i have stock front 22mm swaybar, itr rear 22mm swaybar, f+r strut tower bars, koni yellows, 6kg/mm F, and 7kg/mm R springs.
w/o any adj, the set up yeild some understeer. but i set the rear tires to 37psi, front tires to 35 psi, the front shocks set to 2 turns away from full stiff, and rear set to almost full stiff...this yeilds no understeer.

24 mm front sway bar
22mm rear sway bar
550 lb springs up front
450 lb springs in the rear
I will switch the springrates when I get off my ***, hopefully makes a difference. Although all the bling bling I have cant compensate for my driving skills...
