Anyone who has opened their head please tell me if your rocker arms have little rollers on the end or if they are just metal tab things, thanks - will

alrighty thank you, do you know if theres any kits or any way to make mine roller cams? I know on crazy high reving and high power motors they use rollers because they can have a steeper angle on the lobes to allow the valves to open more and stay open longer, any ideas?

I'm not sure there's anything out there for this type of conversion.

But what are you looking to do? I'm sure there is some combination of valve spring/retainer head package that will achieve your goal. There are so many choices out there.

Plus, you can always go LS/Vtec. Once you go there, even more options are open to you.

there is no roller valve train setup for the non-vtec head.

crane cams make a full roller valve train and camshaft setup for the VTEC head. it's very expensive though which is why hardly anyone uses it.

ohh ok thanks I was just wondering, my goal honestly is to stroke my motor to 1.98 liters with a b16 head. Get everything balanced really well, so theres almost no limit to the RPM's before power cuts out and just keep it all motor. But thats not for a long *** time, most likely just an LS-T for now. And if I can afford it perhaps LS/Vtec instead... Not too sure, im weighing my options now. I was thinking alot about gettin I/H/E(2.75 inch, just headers a cat, and a 24 inch resonator with no muffler and a true peice of straight tubing) Intake Manifold, Throttle body, crower cams (Street/Track) Apex'i SAFC controller, new clutch, and cam gears. So I dont know, im so lost on what to do. Like whats best for the price.
