Default newbie question--- Identify this Honda motor

My brother in law is scabbbing together parts and pieces of various civics and is having trouble identifying a motor. The number on the block is D15B24609138. I'm a Jeep guy and know nothing about Hondas and the brother in law is a computer illiterate.

Any ideas?

TIA

1.5 liter and it has 92 horsepower. every civic from 88-91 except the HF,Si, EX and the 4wd wagon had this motor.
