Default D16z6 Engine

Hello!

Please give me some help.

Now i have a stock civic and some day I like to go turbo. So I decided to upgrade my engine with cam, camgear, springs and retainers. Which cam should i install, ZEX, CROWER or something else, which is beter? I wold like some opinions. And which camgear should i chuse... on the market are to many companys making camgears.... i have a headache. Where can I get some good springs and retainers? For good price.

Thanks!

Default Re: D16z6 Engine (wing)

I'm running a stock d16z6 right now in my ej1
I'm building a d to handle boost but I am starting at the head and working down. I just bought ferrea valves, springs, retainers. and had a three angle valve job done on the head with the new valves. Havn't gotten the head on the the block, for the fact of needing to still build the block. I did a bunch of research on valvetrains and ferrea seemed to be the best quality one out there. Plus the machine shop I went to in phoenix said that would be the easiest to work with. Hope this helps. trav
