ppl really cant pay for 100 bucks to get one, have to steal other ppls ?

Not even $100. You can buy one for $20 that looks pretty damn authentic. I know what you're feeling; I've been there twice.

 

hey.. sorry to hear that mine got jacked a few weeks ago people just want to mess with us b/c they are just mad we have the cars and they dont.. i bought a new emblem im not going to let them win by shving my stuff..

 

Low life ***** stole my emblems a year ago, then about a month ago some sticky fingered perps broke into my teg again and helped themselves to my alpine cd player, changer, and fosgate amp. Keep up this habit and the future looks real bright for these thugs.

 

I just noticed today too that someone tried to take my emblem. Paint is all scrathed up but the emblem is still there. I guess it must be pretty hard to get those suckers off. stupid ghetto riverside ricers...

 

I had to ship my car from DE, and when it arrived I noticed small scratches around the emblem. Apparently people tried to steal my emblems while it was still at the dearlership.

 

sorry to say it is !! and my car is parked in fornt of the door too, sercuity said they patrol every halh a hour.wtf now my back is nasty u can see my paint is gone. is there anyway i can repanit it ?? should i use touch up. man i just got this car with half a year, i think i'm gonna get these static alarm(u touch the car u get shock) jez there are two itr in my building and one in other garage too, now i feel like to sleep in my car.

 

 

Where can you get a authentic looking A for 20 bucks?

The ones I see here in the bay look like ****...the texture of the red is nothing like the stock A.

i had replicas before i got them stolen. I now have the authenic ones from Acura, and although i don't know if the price is justifiable (is that how you spell it?), it is definitely better looking then the fake **** i had before. I would shave it, but prepare to pay up if you decide to take that route.

so can anyone tell me how to fix my scratch, it's really big and deep. and if i leave the emblem off is water gonna go through those two holes ? i figure no point of getting emblem again !! it will just cost them to steal it again. god want the emblem i'll buy u one but dont scratch my car...... never ever let me catch those guy(s) or i;ll go to jail for first degree murder

I have a strip of black electrical tape running across the two holes to avoid water. I'm also trying to find a way to fix the scratches left behind by ********. Could get a shop to repaint it, I'm sure it wouldn't cost that much but I would have trouble leaving my R unattended in someone elses hands. Also, getting the paint to match might be a little trouble. I've been told that touch up paint doesn't really work and is obvious. However, my brother said it does but it has to be done right with sanding, buffing, etc. to look good. I had an idea, don't know if its any good but would it be ugly to just have decals made that resemble the emblems?

 

ThePunk's almost got jacked a few weeks ago. I spotted them through the window. I noticed a riced-out lowered GS-R pull up in front, and circle around and parked near his car. Told Dion what I saw, and we ran out there. We we got there, there were two of them, one look out, and other was well, "checking his tire pressure" Yeah right! After about a min of talking to them, Dion stated that's why he has an alarm (blipped it for them), and we turned and walked away. then, they both hopped in his ride, and took off.

They can afford $1000 suspension, $1000 wheels/tires, but can't afford a $20 badge!!! WTF?!?!?!

 

i'm thinking to buy those acura emblem (those gs gsr) and paint it red to put back. what do u guys think. my ITR is really poor, why would ppl attack a non defensive car, i wish R can fight ppl when ppl try to hurt him

 

A while ago, my front emblem was stolen, and I want to a local car stereo/import parts store and bought a new one. I compared the fake one to the real one I still had on my rear, and hell if you couldn't tell the difference. (And I'm pretty ****!) They sell 'em for $25 a piece or $40 for a pair. I still have the packaging, so I will look to see if there is a brand on them, but I don't think the plastic package has a label on it.

Then, a few weeks ago, both the front and the rear were jacked and I bought two more. The front is back on, and it covers most of the scratches, but the rear is another story. It's all messed up. I bought a little bottle of touch-up paint from the dealer, but I have yet to apply it. Some of the scratches extend beyond the perimeter of the emblem, but I can't afford to shave them and get it painted properly right now. Actually, if I look at it the rear with the right reflections, I can see that they dented the sheet metal slightly, at the bottom of the emblem, as they used a screwdriver to pry it from the top. I don't think it will be noticable with the new emblem back on, though.

dont worry about water getting in the holes i think it just leads down so the water can somehow channel out. To try and cover up scratches, try the turtle wax scratch remover polish, doesnt look like new but it hides it.

 

If my emblems got stolen, I would probably do the same thing as you. Makes the car have stealth look to it. Having fake emblems jacked is even more stupid.

my GF's car's emblem got stolen along with my R's and i put a cheap R sticker that i got for free at a car show that wouldn't be worth no more than a penny to cover the holes so no water gets in and guess what????? THey stole that too.. Damn low life punks.!! wait til i see one of them do it in public..

well went to body shop today, they said coz my scratch was really bad therefore they suggest me to paint the back side for 180CDN it also recover the dent, then i went to dealer ask to the price of emblem first they told me it's 40CDN for a set then he told me if i want the factory one it's 200up CDN, and the only difference is the factory emblem the red part is darker then after market i would get factory emblem if mine was stolen at my "apartment garage" but since it is i'm prepare to get steal again, therefore i dont think i;ll get factory one. damn my R looks ugly with out emblem.

btw who here still has their factory emblem never been stolen, coz it sounds like most R had thier emblem stolen and the dealer told me they sold 30 sets emblem last week coz most R got theirs stolen.
