well i have 17 konig tantrums and i wanted a little bit bigger of a sidewall... so i was thinking of trying a 215 40 17... has anybody else ever ran this ? its kind of in the middle of a 205 40 17 and a 45 but just a tad tad wider...

i have dunlop fm901s right now and they wear down to nothing in the rain and suck.. so im gonna run some kumho 712s...

just checking if anybody else has ran this size...

 

i believe you'll rub at that size

 

well i have the SPC rear arms and camber kit which shortens up the rear a little bit so i dont rub on the rear... so dunno... but this is my second set of tires in 2 months and id like these to last a bit longer

 

I think 215/40's are a better idea than 205/45's, definately. I have 205/40/17s on my teg and the back just BARELY rubs the tire once in a blue moon. I think sly is right, you will rub.... that is unless you are not dropped?

 

if your dropped you will rub, i've got 215's in the rear and had to roll my fenders in abit
