Default Need A good swap for cheap price!!

I got a 91 dx hatch and am in desperate need of a swap. BUt due to the fact that im only 17 my money isnt as much as i wish it was!!! But i really need a swap. I have a si tranny for it but i blew my rod so need something new. But im not really trying to get another tranny. MIne is already a d series and i need the wiring cause i had the dpfi.So im trying to goe vtec and then turbo it. Hopefully i'll be fast!!!!! If not im just gonna sell it. It has front drilled brembo rotors and coilovers, fresh black paint bout 1 month old!! And black ls rims!

You can get B16A swaps now for around $1600 canadian I know, and install will depend on where you get it done at.
This has been brought up many times before, search and many questions that you have will be answered

Well a good start would be the A6 or Jap spec ZC version. Both are
SOHC engine and are an easy swap in..just have to wire for MPFI.
Based on this info..searching for past threads should provide more answers.
As for costs...if you save and look around complete swap outs are being
sold in the $400 range, while SoKo USA is selling the ZC longblock for $350.

have fun

Or, you could go and find one of the 500,000 stolen GSR motors.

DOHC ZC! Had mine for quite a while with no problems. And I pull on A6's rather easily . Plus, you can keep your AC and its like a large bolt-on. Cheap, fast, reliable, pick two. - Darrell

i would say go with the dohc zc cheap strong and you could use a d-series tranny (i would recomend an si tranny if you got one) but if you have to deal with smog like here in cali the zc's are harder to get reffed
