The other day I was driving and I passed a yellow Mazda Miata. It was very stock looking with some mild aftermarket rims and a very nice "spoon N1" style exhaust.

The odd thing tha made it very different was that it looked like a <U>mini RX7</U>! There as a very MILD kit on there. Just side skirts, and front lip. The back bumber was stock from what i can tell. Also this was the newer model w/out the popup lights.

I just wanted to ask if:
a) anyone know what year miatas best resemble rx7?
b) is there oem kit or aftermarket kit that is mild?

wow, the hardtop/fastback version looks really nice, i think we need a photoshopper to gice us a nice example of what they could look like choosin from the 1st or last pic.

 

I want to know if that is an oem kit.....

Yes, the kit comes factory(OEM) from the dealerships. (Front air dam,Large side sills,Large rear mudguards)

yeah i saw that one.... looks just like it with different miata rims. Also it was hard top and exhaust was not OEM....
I like them, looking them from my rear view mirror/side mirror they look like mean!

 

that's an 2002 Limited Edition Miata, it has special interior, 6spd/lsd tranny. My little brother has one, it does look good, fun to drive but for everyday driving, it rides like crap.

I test drove the mazdaspeed miata...those things are fast as hell and handle like a dream.
