Default H22 gas mileage

I was wandering if anyone else is having this problem.
I am only getting like 15 miles a gallon from my H22.
What might be causing this? thanks

Bad O2 sensor might be causing you to run rich

see i have replaced both map sensors cuz my pressure has been real high and wont change much. i have an Apexi vtec controller and the pressure has been stayin at -757 and when i floor it it should go down to -15 and it doesnt. and now it sucks gas down. will a bad O2 sensor mess up my pressure too?

Sounds like you have your Apexi controller set to the wrong sensor.. Its should be set to pm1 type sensor for pressure. Otherwise your whole car will be off balance..

but will an O2 sensor cause u to lose pressure and gas mileage go down cuz that is my gut feeling. that it is a bad O2 sensor. it has never been changed
i just hope it is nothing internal

OK i have changed my O2 sensor and the gas seems to be a lil better, but the vaccum pressure is still messed up.
when i start the car or rev it up the engine will try and die when the rpms come down. instead of reving up and the rpms coming down and stayin at 750 they drop to like 200 and then it goes up to 750. but it idles smooth at 750. but when i rev up the engine is when i does that. i am so confused now. help me

well your IAC valve could be the culprit too...

on a 93 accord there are 2 map sensors!!! i am goin to try changin the Intake Air Bypass (IAB) sensor and the Speed sensor next. probably tomorrow. hopefully that cures my problem. the VAFC is set on the right sensors as well i took it to a local shop to make sure.

Umm no there is not. Only one map sensor. The other if anything is a purge valve used for the EGR system. The plugs are the same round two prong and sometimes people get them confused.. You VSS & IAB will not give you the kinds of problems yu are having, especially if you are not getting a code for them..

there is a map sensor on the firewall and one in the ignition box. that is what honda told me. but those are not the problem anyways cuz i have replaced them both. i am starting to think that it is the speed sensor cuz when i am driving at like 2nd gear at 3000 rpms and i floor it, it will take off and kinda stutter at times.
also the check engine light has been on but it has been on since we did the motor swap back in January.

Okay listen clearly. IT IS NOT YOUR SPEED SENSOR..

Have you change your fuel pump yet. When I had my engine in my accord I would get part throttle stutter as well but that was because the stock pump was old and not flowing enough for the engine.. Get a walbro or Venom High flow pump..

You can pay me the money you would have spent on the speed sensor if you wish..

It doesnt see you have multiple problems. First you have to change to the right sensor like I told you before. Then change out the pump since its going on 10 years old now. Then fix all your CELS you will be fine from there..

from how you describe the idle, dipping down, then going back up, sounds like your TPS needs to be calibrated. mine did the same thing.
