is this a safe setup. im runnin a LS with b16 pistons and i want to put nitrous in. is this going to be safe?

 

We need a little more detail. How much nitrous? How are you gonna add it? Wet? Dry? Also try searching for b16 and nitrous or nos, you might find an answer in the archives.

 

i will be puttin a dry 50 shot possibly 75 for the track

 

That is the setup I am going with real soon. I have already picked up some B16 P30 pistons, and hope to be running 75shots constantly with no worries.

With good safe fuel tuning, 75 is no big deal with b16 pistons.. or any OEM pistons for that matter. Also, timing retard is helpful

 

i'd run some retard off ignition and get some colder plugs. 75 dry on 11.4ish:1 compression is going to create some heat in the combustion, gonna have to step up on octane... possibly 94 or higher
