Can someone help me hea, I own a JDM TYPE R Integra the only main problem besides not being able to pass NY state inspection is I am trying to replace the rotors with drilled rotors the only thing is I CANT FIND ANY for my model its not like I can go to pep-boys or auto barn and pick them up I tried Honda and acura but the loosers at my local dealer know as much about hondas and ac's as my wife and thats not saying much!
I need to know what rotor I can get to replace them and still use my regular pads and calipers. I know for a fact its the same 4 lug pattern as the 94 Honda accord 4 lug cuz that is what my spare is, but I dont know if the rotor is compatible, Also does anyone know if the tenzo R big brake rotor fit with my 15" white Itr wheel? as for now the car is just a track car till I can get down to Florida and legalize it down there but until then I NEED NEW ROTOR!!!!!! I can only get the ones I have now turned at the metal shop a few more times TOPS before they refuse to do it anymore...... let me know thanx ANY PICS WILL HELP ALSO

if you are using the jdm ecu, u wont pass.. make sure u use stock headers. brand new cat, oil change, and low grade gas like 87 .. use the usdm type R ecu .. im gonna b using the stock jdm ecu on my 96 spec, but i have a higher chance of passin cuz they dont connect to my ecu when testing.. im rpetty sure they connect to your ecu when they check you since your car is 96+

thats the way to do it
maybe if you want more performance for track use........ go with the hybrid setup like emerika did but leave them drilled to 4x114.3

Im From NY Long Island to be exact I've been in Cali for the Last 5 years but being that the Only reason I lived In Cali was Cuz of The Marine Corps and Im getting out in Nov. I have to get it to pass in Ny since im headed back but I honestly didnt try too hard before I came hea to Afghanistan for it too pass, I really didnt have time... too much traveling I did put the stock exhaust back on and intake with box and I did put on USDM GSR headers on just to try but that didnt work THE ONE THING THAT I DIDNT EVEN THINK OF AT THE TIME WAS THE ECU
I forgot that before my brother sold me the car he put in a usdm ecu to pass inspection but he chipped it sometime while I was in Iraq, I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT HE PUT IN IT THOUGH
THANX For pushing me in the right direction and I guess I gotta drill the rotors......

If I were you, I would try the 1992-1996 prelude rotors. They are drilled correctly. I don't remember if they are 10.6 (GSR) or 11.1 (ITR) size.
If they are ITR size, you should try ITR/Accord wagon Calipers, and benefit from the bigger brakes...

DO NOT PUT LOW GRADE GAS IN A JDM ITR MOTOR. You risk destroying it as the compression is too high and might have preignition on crappy gas.

let him, if he wants to.
i'd suggest just turning the ignition timing to 0 bdtc

You have 4 options in regard to your brakes (front)
(1) I dont know if this model was available in the US but if you can get prelude 2.2 NON vtec front rotors, they'll bolt straight on to your car BUT you will have to shave a little off the inside of each front caliper as they will rub. When you fit the disc you will see where needs to be shaved down a little, a lot of the UK 96spec ITR owners have done this and it works well.
(2) re-drill GSR rotors to 114.3 x 4, any good machine shop can do this.
(3) Get prelude VTEC BB1/BB4 calipers and discs which will bolt straight onto your hub, and will also increase your rotor from 262mm to 282mm and therefore technically inprove braking.
(4) Buy OE 96spec rotors. I also have a 96spec ITR but i'm in europe and Mardigras motorsport in the UK got me OE discs but theyre hella expensive (approx $350 for two front rotors...sorry now i didnt just go and source prelude vtec calipers/rotors)

This guy has the easiest way to do it. The spacing from the GSR rotors and the Prelude NON-vtec (Si) rotors is the same however it is DIFFERENT from the 1996 ITR 4x114.3.
So either way you have to space the caliper differently with longer bolts and shims or washers.
GSR rotors require precision drilling of the rotor at the right spacing but the prelude rotors require no drilling so it is the easier method. I did this on my old hatchback that had the 4x114.3 setup.

If you need help, I am in NY (Mapquest 10801)
My ITR front brackets are off the car for now, as aresome legend GS twin piston brackets. You could come by and do a test fit...
Also, go by autozone and try to match your discs with anything 4*114. You can probably get pretty close... and autozone rotors are cheap and good...
PM me.
