jack up the car, loosen the check/fill bolt, lower the car back down, and remove the bolt. you've got a funnel and some hose, right?

Do it the easiest way. Simply jack the car up, loose the drain bolt. Let it drain and then lower the car.

Once the car is level, remove the 10mm bolt holding down the VSS and fill from there. PEICE OF CAKE.

Note: I change my tranny fluid as often as I change my Oil. Everything 1000 miles or less.

I usually have the front on jackstands and lift the rear with the jack. Be very careful if you try it. I think it only needs to be level to fill it up, not drain.

Just go buy 2 more jackstands. I'm sure there will be times when having 4 will come in handy. You can get nice ones from AutoZone for about $15/pair. I have a matching set of 4, works great.

i just jacked up the front of the car,put a jackstand under, loosened the bolt, drained the tranny fluid, put bolt back in,took jackstand out, lowered the car and filled the tranny back up..

I put the front up on jackstands and then just jack up the rear of the car when I'm ready to fill.

I fill it through the VSS hole until it starts to dribble out and then put the plug back in the tranny.
