Default sources for newbie knowledge

I was wondering if you guys had any places that I could learn a lot about performance and mods for cars.

I know a fair amount about cars and the parts and how stuff works, but I dont know that much about modding and just improving the performance of cars, past the basics. I have been sitting on this site a lot lately, reading through the threads.. but I was thinking if there was a site that was more based towards educational that I would learn a lot more in the time i spend.

Just let me know if you guys got anywhere you can point me... thanks.

That way I dont have to interupt threads that are addressing a good topic with "whats that mean"

just go to the search bar at the top of this page. Enter a phrase on just about anything you want to know and I guarantee it will be their, either in the recent threads or archives. HT rules!!!

i know how you feel.
i have been doing the same thing. I really dont think that theres just 1 site with tons of info. Thats why I read here. And dont feel bad if you have to say something like "what does that mean". I have had to do it many times.

Also, if you have particular questions about specific parts or installs, use the search function. it will save you lots of time, and will probably give you more info than you want. That is where I get quick answers to most of my (and other people's) questions.
