Default Question on gauge clusters

i was wondering if anyone here has put a 94-00 gsr cluster into his/her 96 civic? do the plugs fit? no splicing required? have the opportunity to buy one for 20 bux, so i was interested in the conversion. thanks for you help

have you done this conversion? so just to confirm, nothing will plug right in to my EK cluster? is this a conversion worth doing? or maybe i should go to the boneyard and grab the plugs too, and then just splice it in?

actually the plugs are physically the same but with different pin locations, it's quite easy to swap the pins around, you can do it in half an hour if you know what you're doing

i remeber i saw merritt's website and thought to myself "oh! the GSR one will fit then"

WRONG! it plugged in alright, but start the car and rev it up a lil bit. you'll see what happens! hit the turn signals, you'll laugh even harder! get the Si one, if not, i have an EX one for sale if you want it
