Default Someone Please Read And Reply, Pleasse...

I have an 86 CRX Si, completely stock.. 226K miles on it. well, i have had an ACT clutch put in but thats all.. and i was wondering how can i tell exactly what kind of motor i have.. as far as B16a, B18, D15 all that crap.. which one is mine.. and how do i know.. and does anyone have any recommendations as to what my one and only problem could be right now, I blew my head gasket, Got a new headgasket kit with the head gasket, intake gasket, exhaust gasket and a few other gaskets, i had the head re surfaced and the valves reworked, no leaks in it or anything, still fine the only problem is now the car seems really sluggish.. alot more than it was, especially before 4 grand.. another question would be what is the highest safe rev limit.. i have had it to 7K before.. but not wanting to go farther because the redline starts at 6.5K please help thanks
