Default flywheel info needed !!!

i was wondering what was the weight on the ls and gs-r stock flywheels...and isnt the stock flywheel on the itr around 14-15 lbs..??? thx

i think the LS is around 17ish. i would think the gsr would be close to that.

12.5 lb flywheel would give you better performance, and not comprimise your drivablity too much. Ideal IMO.

Ls= 18lbs
GS-R 16.5
Type R 15 lbs

well i dont know if the gsr one wieghs 16.5 - i heard it was 18 some place and i just wieghed my stock one and it came in at 18...but we all know how accurate home scales are.

say if i swap the gsr tranny into my ls , right now im looking at these 2 flywheels:

the ACT xact streetlight @ 12.5 lbs
the Exedy Racing Flywheel- NFO2 @ 13.9.. lbs
you think either or of these would fair pretty nicely?

I have a 12.5 and i immediatly noticed the difference. I have no complaints, no sacrifice in drivability at all...im actually concidering going lighter when i replaced my clutch.

I use the 8.5 pound ACT Prolite on my B20Z with B16 tranny in my car. It has plenty of drivability in my opinion. I drives really nice.
