Del Sol Gauge Cluster Wiring Question
ok first off, VTEC is spelled VTEC PLEASE FORGIVE ME FOR SPELLING IT WRONG ~ Damned whinners need to grow up and realize this site is here not for bashing ppl (Less there dumbass) but to HELP ppl with questions.
Now i know wiring a VTEC light has been covered many times, but my question hasent been, So if a certain Mod would be kind enough to leave this alone and not lock it id really apreciate it! (j.a) -Insert pissed off face here-
First off in the Sols guage cluster theres a few open spots for some sort of indicator lights that arent ussed in mine 95 Si does anyone know what these were meant for? currently i have L/R blinker, Brake, Srs, Cruise, Brights, Ext. I want to add a VTEC indicator light to one of these spots and was cuirious to what they where intended for B-4 i do anther failed mod to my car and mess it up. If i can use an existing location thats prewired cool beans if not no big deal.
Second, Is there a wire already in the wiring harness that goes to the Guage Cluster for the indicator light? or do i have to run one myself to pin A4.

the light wiring is really easy and not that difficult. all you have to do is drill the hole and set the light bulb in there. as for wiring, you just ground one side and run the spliced wire from a4 like you mentioned to the positive side. one thing you have to remember is that i would try to go w/ the lowest voltage LED light bulb i can find. the reason for led is because these require very little voltage to operate. anything else such as a 2-3 watt bulb will draw too much power from your ecm which will eventually burn it out.
