ever since we put new pistons, rings and HG, my engine stays COLD.......it only reaches normal temp(1/4) at a stop.........once i start moving, the needles drops back to C......we just started getting cold weather right when we put the motor together but i don't think it should stay this cold.....anyone know whats going on?

 

Sounds like the signs of a thermostat stuck open.

 

 

Gotta check the thermostat.
