your supose to get 205/45/16
205/45/16 is all most the same size as the stock size
i have 205/40/16 and it suks its a good amount smaller than the stock tires and it makes the speedo read a lot higher
with 205/40/16 when the speedo says 80mph your actually going abotu 75 or less

I looked at the following for my 16"x7.5" Kosei K1's:
Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's in 205/45R16 and 215/40R-16
Pirelli P Zero Nero's in 205/45R-16 and 215/40R-16
Bridgestone Potenza RE040's in 215/45R-16
Falken Azenis in 215/45R-16
I think I'm going with the Azenis even tho the tread depth starts at 8/32", whereas all the others are 10/32" or 11/32" (P Zero Nero's). The P Zero Nero's are the secondary choice.
The Bridgestone's are way too expensive, even for me. $182/each, and they probably will only get me through one year of street driving and racing.

Well I just picked up the yokohama avid h4s in 205-40 and I love them. They're all season high performance tires with traction and temp rating of A and treadware of 500. These things grip and just feel better overall. I previously had falken ziex's.
With the yokohama, I have enough grip now that I barely chirp 2nd. With the ziex's I would occasionly spin 2nd gear. The avid's also seem more smooth and if i go over a bump or something it isn't as tooth shattering as the ziex's were.
