Default Headlight Cleaning

My headlights are kind of yellow. Can anyone tell me a way to clean them and make them nice and clear again?

if they're plastic jdm style, I hear you can sand it then spray a clear coat and it will make it brand new. if they're yellow and glass I dont know.

The best way to clean them is to get some mothers mad and aluminum polish and just polish them by hand. It works great and will get all of the yellow out of the lens as long as it is on the outside of the lens

Take the headlight off the car, bulb out etc.

You can either seperate the glass and give EVERY surface a good cleaning and then reseal it, or you can get a pressure washer or a high powered shower head, use hot water and some dish soap like Dawn or Ajax...rinse it around in there a few times using the high powered jet and it'll start getting clean.
