Check out the front bumper....part 2
I know its kinda long but read the whole thing, It will all make more sense if you do.
For those of you who didnt get a chance to see what I did the first time, here's a link to the thread.

For you lazy assed
Heres the pic of what I did last year 9/03
After I was able to get some free time again. I decided to get more practice in my customizing/reman skill. BTW, ive really gotten into the whole body work/polyurethane repair/custom work.
After reading the previous post (AGAIN) I tried to work in some of your guy's opinions. I.E. Put a lip, get rid of the mesh, there were some other ideas but read the thread and see for your self.
This doesnt have anything to do with the bumper but I did add CTR black housing lights. I really think they complement the car.
to the CTR Lights.
Some of the things I did this time around were adding in and completely molding in a Mugen style front lip.
I also took out the mesh everywhere it was except in front of the intercooler. I wanted the intercooler to have some protection while im on the highway, as big trucks like to drop tons of rock and dirt in front of me. My hood has hundreds of little chips from where they have been doing construction by my house. HAHA, FUCKEN SEMI's. SOOO, I wanted to have a little bit of protection for the intercooler, But I do plan to paint the Mesh Black, just have to get off my lazy *** and do it
I completely cut out the section where the Honda symbol was. I wanted to get rid of the ricey looking red Honda Symbol in the front, as well as attempt to achieve more air flow into the engine bay. Underhood temps can become scorching during the middle of the day, especially now that the car is TURBOCHARGED
, when its the hottest. I believe all of the pics, you can clearly see my radiator/AC condensor.
To give you a little bit of tech on the methods used. (Wish I had a picture of the actual product to show you what I use) Its a compoud called "Rapid Patch". Basically its a mix of liquid polyurethane and a very very very strong super glue (trying to make it so that everyone understands) Once its made, you have about 3-5 minutes to work with it before it completely dries. During the winter, its a whole lot easier to work with as your given more time because of the cold weather. We also use supre glue to fill in tiny little holes in the finished product, just put a little in, let it dry, and then sand it down a little bit. It sounds cheap but it works wonders. If you have any specific questions about the process let me know or PM me.
And finally the pictures.

Give me your honest opinions. I know some of you guys arent going to like it and totally tell me to take it off and put on an OEM one on, and just plain out say its ugly, but everyone has different tastes. Just honest opnions. Please no flaming. Im hoping that you guys the didnt like before, might just like it a little bit now. I dont know. Thanks for all the replies in advance

nice craftsmanship!
IMO the 2 big round outer vents need to be a bit smaller and if it was somehow connected to a pipe that was routed to the discs in the front it would be <3!

Thanks for all the replies. Not sure how I could rig up the Brake Cooling system you guys have all mentioned. I had also thought about making some kind of "Ram Air" or "Cold air intake" for the turbo from the big vents on the side, putting pannyhose or some kind of screen on the bumper it self, then getting flexpipe/or thin heater pipe stuff and running it directly into my Turbo Inlet.
On the Rapid Patch part. I will have to check with my company who we get it from. All I know is they order it and we get it so I dont know
thanks for the honesty, and no flaming. More opinions wanted.
TIA

Agreed.... but hey its your car.
IMO a 99-00 front end with that FMIC would be uber sexier
