Default putting in springs

Tonight i put my car up on blocks, removed the wheels, im ready to start putting in my new eibach pro-kits, getting rid of my front cut springs tomorrow. so i was looking at how everything goes together. what bolts am i gonna take out to drop out the strut so i can put new springs on it. Im also replacing my drivers side uca and ball joint. I was wondering how to take it all apart so i can put all the new stuff in

I own a 91 crx dx, so you should be in the same boat.

Front Struts: Undo the bolt that connects the fork of the strut to the lower control arm. Then that fork that you just disconnected from the control arm, there is a bolt on the back side of it, remove that bolt. Next you have to remove that fork completely, shouldn't be too annoying to do. Just twist it a little and I'll come off the strut. After that in the engine bay locate the two nuts that hold the strut in place. Remove those and the strut will come right out.

Upper Control Arm: It's simple unbolting and bolting, just look you'll you get it. If you can do the strut job the upper control arm is a cake walk.

Also, when i take stuff out i want to clean it because up under my wheel well, all the parts are real grimey and sick looking... Im replacing some but the rest when its taken apart i figure ill clean it... and the wheel well itself im not sure if some of it is insulation or whatever, or meant to be there, but i live in texas where you dont have to worry about salt on the roads and you can drive your car 12 months of the year.

What works to make that stuff look less grimey... I have some "gunk" but thats for engines... and i have this concentrated orange extract super cleaner **** that i know would dissolve all that ****... but i dunno if i should use that.
