JDM ITR header (numbers signs) ?
I want to know how to recognize a JDM header if it is "real one", are there any numbers on the header, or any signs? Where are they located ?
thanx in advance....

The header should be pretty easy to identify, since it has a pretty distinctive look, and I'm not aware of any copies that actually attempt to replicate the exact look of the OEM part. Are you familiar with what the header looks like?
I know what it looks like, but since this one is polished out and inside by a mechanic, i would like to know if its a copy or OEM, cause i didnt get it directly "from the box", it was polished before was handed to me.
thats why it would be easy to look if there is a numer on it or a sign...

Not necessarily. A replica JDM 4-1 header was recently released by one of the dealers in the Sponser Marketplace. Please see here:

These are their replica JDM headers:

They claim similar performance and will bolt up to the heat shields and/or the aftermarket skidplates. Looks are similar, but I can tell just by looking at the pics that it's a "replica".

Hey, I just took a peek at my JDM header (waiting to be installed), and there is a stamp on one of the heat shield brackets, but mine is different from the pic that Splat posted above. Anyone know why?

the stamps are probly different on each header, but as you can see the street imports 4-1 has the brackets but no stamp... i just ordered one of those, hopefully it performs as well, but for 150 it was too good to pass up

I remember draging this thing from CA to NJ back in 98 and finding out it does not bolt on.
Not in mood to do chop shop job inorder to retro fit. Send it right back for a spoon 2 piece instead.
I just hate the cheap quality with rust included.

What is the actual internal diameter of the JDM header? i Considering it has the double walled collector...it has an OD of 60.5mm and judging by those pictures the ID is approx 50mm which isnt much bigger than the ID or the USDM ITR header collector........
