Getting ready to start my Y8 build and need an engine stand...anyone buy one on ebay? Haha sounds bad but i was bored and found a handfull of these...

$40 shipping and the stand for .99 is pretty cheap. I saw some at pep boys for $60 but figured i'd ask

How about engine hoists for pulling/installing engines? Where did you guys rent/buy them?

P.S. - anyone near Philly, PA have a stand/cherry picker they could lend me!

Harbor Freight sells engine hoists for $170-$190. The non-collapsible models cost less then the collapsible models (folding legs). They also have engine stands for sale there too.

Yeah i mean that isn't too expensive but for something i will (should) only use once every few years i think i may try to find a used/rental. It may not be worth the trouble though...
