Default Knowing ignition timing with aluminum flywheel, SOL?

I installed a CM aluminum flywheel in a while back and my dumbass forgot to have the degrees etched in by a machine shop. There is a TDC mark and that is it.

I know the timing is 15 degrees right now, that is what it was before the install. Is there any way to change it and actually know what it is without the fw marks?

correct me if I'm wrong... but aren't the timing marks on the crank pulley?

I still don't understand why you'd need timing marks on the flywheel.......? You can't see it...

Pull the #1 plug...get a really long 3/8 drive extension...long like 2 ft one.....put it down into the # cylinder...turn the crank until the extension is at the top of the stroke....Mark the crank pulley.

I already have a TDC mark though. But no degree marks.

nice timing lights let you set your own advance on the gun... so you set it for what you want, and then time it to TDC.... (what he said )
