paid off the R today
got it last october and refied the house and threw the car in with the loan. It still
is just as good or better than when I got it( a little better driver now)hope to own it for the next ten years. I told my wife I would unless honda brings another R to the US then all bets are off. thanks for all the great info on a great web site!

The next few months, you need to be extra, extra careful.
I remember when my dad paid off his T100 truck and it got into a wreck shortly after that. Someone ran into him. Then when he paid his Tundra off, it burned down. Sucks, but you're more susceptible to that sort of stuff once it's freshly paid off. SO BE CAREFUL!

i bought my R on 12-27-01. I paid her off in 2 years and on 12-27-03, i lost her. How ironic huh? So i never really got to drive her when she was paid off, i lost her right when she was paid off. Eh, Life's silly twists.
