Springs: H&R Sport or Eibach Pro-Kit ?
Hey guys... i've decided to forget about my dream setup (H&R Full Coilovers) and go for some well matched springs and shocks. I've narrowed my selection down to H&R Sport's or Eibach Pro-Kit's..
What do you guy's recommend?
Does anyone have any comparison pics?
Are both springs compatible with stock AND aftermarket shocks (stock LS and koni yellow, etc)?
Also, what spring rates do you recommend for hard daily driving? Or should i just go with whatever they recommend?
Thanks guys.

Uhhh correct me if I'm wrong but a full coilover setup comes with shocks unless it's the imitation sleeve kind. The H&R should come with shocks as well as the Eibach's (if they make coilovers).
As for which I would go for, H&R makes the best stand alone springs for the Integras (in my opinion) and Koni yellows to go with it. But, I haven't tried their coilovers as I don't really need the aplication.

A ghetto threaded body sleeve (GC/Skunk2) is a threaded body coilover same as a Zeal Function B6, just that the ghetto ones fit any shock perch (except bilstein and koni, need an adapter for those) while the "real" threaded body coilovers are molded onto the shock body.
To get back to the main question.. I ran Bilstein HD's with H&R sports and I liked the setup. I have since switched to GC's with custom rates on my bilsteins.
Both are great springs and help out w/ handling a lot, they're not springs just for looks only. The comptech springs are rebadged eibach prokits which you can get for cheaper than the eibachs. The h&r's will lower your car a little bit more.

Get the H&R, they have a longer and better reputation and almost all LeMans cars use their springs or coilovers. I have heard things about Eibach being uneven (back lower than front), so I would stay away. H&R has never been criticized. Also, whenever you upgrade springs, no matter what, get new shocks.
A coilover is simply a coil spring going over a shock body. That's it.

What you described is a strut system. I've always considered coilovers to be the springs mounted on shocks with threads that are adjustable. But either way, did you get the dual coil springs for the GC's?

Did I get tender springs with the GCs? They offer them? (not sure).. either way, nope did not. No need to have them IMO.
when i mentioned the H&R Coilover setup, i meant that i decided NOT to get it. I definately want a spring/shock combo, and I'm leaning more towards the H&R Sports... shocks will be decided upon later.
Could anyone direct me to pics of H&R Sport springs on a G3 Teg, preferably with 17" Rims?
Anyone get their H&R Sports at a good price or know a hookup?

I'm using H&R sports with 17's on my G3
Your looking at a 1.8 " drop
They used to rub a little in the wheel well when doing u turns so I pulled the panel out a bit (1/4 inch) and it's been fine.
They're super stiff and u feel every pebble on the road, but corners
me like
It's not low enough to worry about speed bumps either, I've never grounded out on anything.
I'll post a pic if I get my digital camera working

Go with the H&R's. Htey look way better than the Eibach's and are actually better also. I have a '95 GSR and as soon as I have some money (damn car is expensive, but I love it) I am going to get the H&R Sports Stage 2. When you get htem, let me know how they are. Maybe send a pic or two. cms_integra@yahoo.com
