pioneer 4600mp help
I just bought this and started putting it in today. I finished not too long ago, and for some reason the right front speaker is not working at all. I checked the corresponding wires and, from what I know, (I called Crutchfield and they confirmed the wires just match by color) everything is completely correct. Is there some problem with these I'm not aware of or did I just get a faulty unit?
There are so many things to check for.
Could be a blown speaker?
A loose or bad connection?
The least possible thing, a defective radio?
You can pull the radio out and disconnect that channel. On one side, check with a battery between (+) and (-) to see if the speaker is blown or if there is a good connection between that point and the speaker. On the other side, use another "test" speaker to check if there is sound coming out of that output.
Good luck!

I'm going to check the speaker tomorrow, that really is the only other thing that I can think of that could be wrong... I made sure everything was solder'd correctly, checked the wires, tested it with a meter, everything was good..
Checked out the speaker, it was disconnected.. reconnected, completely dead.. fortunately I had just ordered a pair of speakers the day before so I'm good
one small other problem, the stupid crappy cheap frame they sent me to put it in snapped in half while putting it in, made a sort of makeshift one for now.
