Default Speaker not working

Well, it started when my friend said that when I hit a bump, the speaker would cut out and only the other side would play (rears). From then on, it stopped working. I switched the wires and alternated the speakers yet there was nothing coming from that side. Could it be the wires are rubbing on something? The wires on my HU got loose? Any help is appreciated, thanks .

Sounds like the wires came lose or have grounded for that channel. Should be a pretty easy fix, check you connections for that channel.

How do I go about doing that? I can't really check the whole length of the wire except at the HU and the speaker ends..

Check the connections at the actual speakers and also at the radio harness.

I fiddled around with stuff and the speaker got working again. But, after assembling everything, the speaker stopped working. It seems that my left front and rear are not putting out sound.

However: When I balance it to the left and turn up the HU's volume to max, a little sound comes out of the left side speakers. What could this be?

Go back to where you were "fiddled around " and redo the connections. 94

How ghey, I didn't check my 3.5" to RCA cable (hooking my iPod to Hu). I guess one side of the cable is messed up (how does that happen?) while in radio and CD mode the speakers worked just fine as I found out...after the fact -_-. Hehe thanks for the input guys.
