I was driving down the road one day, and all of a sudden my rpms drop and my car dies. i thought it might of been my fuel pump or main relay. But while i was searching around i found this 20a fuse that was blown. I replaced it and as soon as the car goes on the "ON" position the fuse blows out. I cant seem to figure out wat the fuse is because i dont have the cover for the panel. please help me out

also, any reason y this fuse keeps blowing out? thanks in advance

 

Wire shorted somewhere? What's that fuse for? Check the wires around whereever it goes to for cuts in the insulation.

 

A short to ground is causing that fuse to blow. Follow the wiring behind the fuse back and check with contnuity meter.

 

since you dont have the cover for the fuse, you probably dont even know what fuse to put in there
what # fuse are you putting int here ?

 

it is a 15a fuse, i looked in my owners manual, but for some reason there was a 20a there, which didnt make that big of a difference
