Default Replacing My Emblems

ok my previous emblems got stolen...... damn no good punks!

anyways i'm searching to purchase 2 red acura emblems for my ITR again.

i don't really want to buy them from the acura dealer since they charge too much.

i'm thinking of ebay right now, just give me a yes or no or comments on wheither i should buy these emblems or not.

Don't buy them. You can easily spot them as the fake emblems. Either fork up the money for real ones or buy used real ones. Accept no immitations!

Or buy the oem jdm Honda ones like I did. Then of course you'd have to buy the H centercaps, and replace everything else that says Acura like I did.

well the item is described to be
* 100% Brand New in Box
* JDM style Acura "A" Real Aluminum Emblem
* Come as 2 pieces set
* Size: 2 7/8" x 2 1/4"

dunno how u can tell that they're fake right off the bat, but i'll see anymore ppl have any comments on this cheap deal.

real acura emblems cost like $60 usd for just 1 i think, but i can get 2 for about $31 cdn.... all i want is a replica, i don't car if its made from plastic for all i car lol.

Tip #1 right there.

Anyway, they may look ok when the car is by itself, but if you ever park near another Hype R, it will be immediately clear that your badges are fake. Authentic ones are a darker red than any of the fakes I've seen.

For future information any time that "style" is mentioned on ebay its another way of saying "knockoff" or "fake".

I've found that you honestly get what you pay for when it comes to these emblems. I've owned replicas and OEM badges, and while the replicas look good (if not completely authentic) when first installed, they don't last very long. Their appearance quickly deteriorates, while the OEM pieces obviously hold up extremely well. You'll end up paying more to replace the cheaper replicas when they've soon deteriorated than you would have spent simply buying OEM ones.
