3" and 4" plastic elbows..good for intake tube piping..
i have been running the filter right off the turbo setup for awhile and have been looking for some nice cheap plastic pipe bends so i can make a intake tube for it..well after combing home depot, lowes, ect...i really could find anything but the heavy and ugly pvc crap..until i stumbed across these in the sears/craftsman online store.
4" elbow:

i used two of the 4" elbows for my intake pipe..cut and jb welded them to the right angle i needed...so only $10 into the pipe, opposed to much more for a custom or prefabbed metal one. the pipes are pretty damn thick and strong too..ill have pics of mine up later but i figure this might be useful for some garage fabbers like myself...
oh and also, you dont have to pay shipping if you chose store pickup..and they prolly wont have these in stock at any retail store, gotta order them.

Cool, I wonder how they will hold up to the heat, I heard not to use PVC pipe because of vapors it gives off when hot and the possibility of it melting...

i think they will do fine if they arent in direct contact with something that gets really hot, eg. the exhaust...guess time will tell though for sure.

over time they will prolly warp from all the heat especially if u have a clamp over the pipe or something.. I was using pvc for all of my charge piping at one point... lol good ol home depot

i really doubt they will warp..its hard thick plastic....and its not like the intake pipe gets THAT hot anyways

the ID is around 3.5-3.75...the OD is just a little under 4"...so its not a "true" 4in diameter but it works good...not sure of the radius, but its a pretty tight bend

not yet..i ran it at the track and it trapped at 112 on pump gas and 15psi..so for a heavy awd car with a spool in the center diff im pretty happy with that...im tuning it on race gas either tonight or tomorrow at ~2bar so hopefully the traps will jump quite a bit this weekend when i race again...that is if it holds together, it is a dsm

this isnt such a bad idea. i need to make custom piping and i dont have a welder. this might be a good alternative to route the piping. did you test drive the car yet?? oh and did you buy it from the store or did you ahve to order it.

yeah ive driven the car in 90deg. heat for like 45min and the pipe was still perfect..i think it will hold up great.
i had to order it from online..but if you chose the pick-up at store option you dont have to pay extra for shipping
