Did a search but came up with a thread that didnt have any answers... buddy of mine is selling his car. wondering if this exchange will work...

Since both are B Series motors the header should bolt up the the block okay right? What about the collector to the cat? Will there be a length issue? If so, will the header be too short or too long?

Getting the header for like 60 bucks so I don't wanna pass this up if all i have to do is have a piece of pipe added on. Thanks!

im not sure about the collecter, but i know both will bolt up to the heads perfectly... what i do know is that the b16 header isn't as tall as the b18b header, so you might have some slight clearance issues with your oil pan. my buddy had a stock b16 header on his LS and it rubbed a tiny bit on his oil pan - the aftermarket header, however, might add a little bit more clearance tho.

test em and find out

 

I'm going to try and see if this'll work sometime this week. Let you guys know how it went.
