NOS bottle location
Mount it like the y0 mad skillz fire extinguisers, high on the passenger-side A-pillar
Seriously you really don't want that in the passenger compartment for safety reasons. If you get a leak, you're dead, if it comes loose in a crash, the bottle could kill you. The truck is safest.

agreed.
agreed.
They put sulfer additives in Automotive Nitrous Oxide to purposley damage your lungs/prove fatal should you try to get high off it (laughing gas, the same crap they knocked you out with when you got your wisom teeth pulled).
Should you get in a wreck, not only will you have a 15lb steel bottle of pressurized vapor flying though your cabin, but should the nozzle come loose the substance will
A) enrich the air with oxygen
B)Displace the air in the cabin with deadly fumes
C) Be extremely cold.
I shot my friends shirt with the remnants of a near empty bottle on accident. It froze the sweat in his shirt solid.
Put it in your trunk.

1) if u get in a wreck bad enough to break the bottle in the passenger compartment, i'm sure the trunk area will be highly exposed anyways and bottle will still be damaged and leaking so that doesnt matter
2) i would rec if nobody sits in the backseat put it on the floor there, if u get in an accident it isnt going to shoot 3 feet up and then forward to hit u, its quite snug between the front and back seats
3) they dont purposely put **** in it to damage ur lungs, the purposely do not purify it as much as they do medical no2....however it is still dangerous to inhale, i would say sitting in between carpet and two seats is less likely to damage the bottle in an accident than in the trunk where its stripped and metal is exposed or there is a lot of area for it to get loose and jump around and u put stuff in the trunk which can move around and damage it
4) behind the seat is easy to check the gauge and open the nozzle when ready to use unless u have a remote one
5) be careful not to hit any fuel lines or anything important while drilling through the passenger compartment
