Default should i replace this?

im replacing the water pumpo and timing belt and this is what my crank pulley looks like. the outer lip for the a/c or p/s pump is all chewed up. i was thinking this could possibly cause balance issues? or am i just being too paranoid?

heres the pics.

The smallest chip can cause vibrations which are not good.

That would be a good idea to replace it since it's chipped.

But remember, it's better to replace it with a stock one. Screw the after market UD pulley.

That's my $0.02.

Search in the Classifieds man.

Gotta be someone out there selling one used in perfect conditon.

Something like this you do not want to buy new, Dealer's will screw you.

I am not sure about the junkyard. The crank pully is very hard to take off.

200?? Why not just get a CTR pully for a lot less? I have one and it's great.

Or take yours to a machine shop get those extra ribs milled off and get it balanced. It will be less than 200 and lighter, and have the stock dampener.

If you can find a machine shop it should take a day or two, thats it.

Or look up owen the soyboy, he posts in DFH a lot. He had a stock one for sale that was milled, and I believe he does them too.

They don't have the rubber dampner in them.
