Hey....i was looking around ebay for 97 accord items.....and i saw this auction that say u could increase 20HP instantly by replacing ur chip with one of their's....does this really work because it sounds too good to be true!!!!and does it do damaged to ur car or lower ur mileage per gallon?????

Completely worthless. Don't be a sucker, not everything you read is true especially on ebay

 

It's not even a chip. It's a 10 cent resistor that can be purchased at Radio Shack. It messes with your ECU and tricks it into thinking its under more of a load, so the engine works harder. Same effect as pushing down the throttle.

Other gimmicks:
Upgraded throttle rotor
Tornado/SpiralMax
Throttle body spacer

And to all of you who actually say these things do something, you're just experiencing the placebo effect .

 

hey, in one of these import magazines i have seen 2 ads by this company, one is for a product called cryo freeze or some **** where it blasts the intake with nitrogen i guess and it freezes the pipe, and in turn the cold air going into the motor increases power...

then their second product is some sort of spray which you use to cheat when you race, basically you shoot it off when you are head to head with another car and it shoots carbon dioxide toward the other car causing an oxygen loss to the motor creating a percentile power loss...its odd, what you think of that ****? its in the back of the super streets and sport compacts i think...

the second one sounds like a waste of time... why make it easier by cheating? thats downright retarded and i hope anyone who uses it burns in hell
