Hope this belongs to the right forum.

Found a Civic Type R strut bar local for 30 dollars pick up and was wondering is it worth the money? I dont care about the fact that it's from a CTR but seeing as how a generic strut bar on ebay costs around 25-27 after shipping, am I better off just buying this since oem > generic.

 

Its really up to you. Who knows this CTR bar could be generic too?

 

I'd rather stick to OEM

 

i personally dont see the benefit of strut bars but hey its up to you. are you sure its a REAL CTR bar though?

 

CTR strut bar is the same as a GSR sturt bar, (CTR is just painted red) I got my GSR bar for free, and I hearn the norm price is around $10. just buy a GSR one. unless you have to have JDM red paint on it.

 

CTR is thicker than the SI/GSR bar. do a search.

 

ctr bar is a smaller inner diameter so the bar is a little thicker thats negating the paint too
