k series tranny's won't fit on a b series engine and they don't make mounts for the k20 in the g2 integra yet but they will soon hopefully. and you would be looking to spend 5 and half grand for motor and tranny if you were wanting to try to do the swap yourself

lol, I thought I was going nuts, I read that post like 10times to make sure; you would have to have a K engine in it first, your best hope is a B17 tranny or a cable B16, hopefully one with a LSD already in it. Good luck

Think of it this way......Honda made motors with different letter names. If it has the smae letter, your good to go. And if it doenst then it wont unless you have some magical super powers.

H and F trannys interchange so hmmmm nah the K series trannys spin backwards so you would have to shell the cash to re gear it and then have an adapter plate made for the bell housing then the imput shaft would have to be the same SO no.

5,500 GRAND FOR THE MOTOR AND TRANNY!!!!

your crazy that's a price for stolen goods. do you do something we don't know about?

a new motor and tranny complete for a Type S assembl runs over 11,000 dollars brand new from the dealer. i've sold two full setups so far and cut people a break and sold them the complete units for $9,800, and that's a good deal. then you have to buy all the accesories the covers and the mounts. If you are doing this swap you either stole the car or are made out of money because this is not your every day ordinary engine swap. the ecu has an immobilizer and all the older hondas and acuras don't have the immobilizer signal sender and then the wiring harness is another 2 grand and the ecu over 1500.

5,500 dollars for a K series swap hahahah i laugh in your general direction<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by JDMg2Integra &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">spend 5 and half grand for motor and tranny if you were wanting to try to do the swap yourself

$9,800 and that was a good deal??? WHOA, that was a good rape you mean, even JDM engine importers dont hit cats up that hard, their selling Type S motors for $5000 shipped, in some cases even the Type R version of the RSX around the same price. Whoever gave you that much cash deserved to get knocked up like that I cant even hate on you. Hey everyday a sucker is born and I guess your finding them, good job. Talk about needing to do your research before buying. Wow, $9,800?? around here that will get you a full engine swap, turbo kit and a standalone system (tuning) if you play it right. Yo if you got anymore suckers, my boy has a crashed RSX-S in his garage, he'll give the entire car for $9,000- full leather interior, full suspension, full engine swap as a matter of fact the car can be fixed. If my other boy doesnt by it from him, please send some of your buyers towards me.

P.S. you have to learn not to deal with the dealership.

9 sec just cause you have a 6 spped transmission? Calm down.

Do not do it. The cost you will end up paying will not be worth the end result. You are going to have to wait a few years. Give the aftermarket time to develop kits for the K series engine.

Honestly, your best bet is to use a B16 transmission. If you do an engine swap there are plenty cheaper alternatives than a K series swap. It just not worth the money right now.

hahahaha, wow, i bet you if i gave you 20 g's you couldn't make a honda do 9's, hahaha

pro's with unlimited budget's have a hard time with that and there car's are complete drag cars, i bet you couldn't build a car to hit 14's, atleast with a 6spd rsx trans and a b series it won't happen, wow, must be the 7 posts talking, haha
