Default another sad day for the prelude:(

so im sittin at a friends house hanging out watching some movies. then one guy and his girl get up to go home. they leave out the door. a few minutes later i hear my alarm go off. i knew exactly what happened. so i go outside to see a ford explorer slamed into the side of my 95 milano red si fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu uucccccccccccccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk are the exact words out of my mouth. now keep in mind this is my third prelude in 3 years. the one before this one got totaled by some dumbass that plowed into me at a stoplight and this one has been in 3 wrecks since ive had it and NONE were EVER my fault. so tomorrow i have to go to the insurance company AGAIN and see if its totaled. so this leaves me with one question. should i get ANOTHER prelude or just find something else. i really love them and i'd hate to have anything else. btw i drove over 800miles to get the one i have now. so maybe someone is trying to tell me that a lude is not me? sorry for the long post but i just need to vent because im feeling really ****** depressed right now

thanks for listening to my sob story and i dont wish this luck on anybody
and if you have any ideas on which car i should choose next if not a lude i am open to suggestions

goodnight from a depressed luder,
David

I don't think fate is saying "You shouldn't have a lude"
I think it's saying "You shouldn't have had THAT lude"

Obviously you just haven't met the right one yet...
Keep searching man!

that's shitty and I feel for you man. but it's not your choice in cars that's bringing this bad luck upon you. I live in Summerville, SC (off Trolley Rd.) too and I think this town is home to some of the WORST Drivers on Earth. Everytime I go out in my car people are pulling out in front of me, cutting me off, basically driving like idiots. So, if you like Preludes you should get another one, but this time you should buy a 5th gen, and then get the hell out of summerville or only drive when no one's on the road.

Dude that blows...I had a civic like that, the thing did NOT run like it should have, was a slow piece of ****, and i got in a wreck with it twice (one by a semi, very nerve racking), and some stupid girl sat on it and dented it, i bought a prelude and i love it, and i hope i dont have the luck i did with my civic. Good luck man, i say get a prelude if you really want to!!

ya its definatly saying THAT prelude is not for you.

thats what my fate is saying about the one I have. I have had it for four months and driven it a week and a half total. I still love preludes, but THIS prelude is not for me.

I was parked across the street from my friends house and he backed into my del sol's quarter panel, it was fixed for $1500. THANK GOD my beautiful h22 was not harmed in the making of this accident.

I've seen a few 4th gen ludes around. Actually the guy who lives next door to my parents has a white 4th gen. I like the 5th gens myself (I've got a black 98). We should meet up sometime, start a luder club or something. I'm going back to college Saturday though, but will be back sometime. My buddy, he's got an RX7, goes to the Festival Center (near Player's Place @ the corner of Ashley Phosphate and Dorchester) on Saturdays. I'm up there sometimes, maybe I'll see ya there. Good luck with your car and don't give up on the Prelude

The question you have to ask yourself is. would you be happy with any other car?

Me personally, now that my lude is back together, is getting harder and harder for me to think about being in any other car.

stick with the lude if you like - its not the ludes fault people in your town cant drive, they dont care what type of car you drive, if its yours - they're going to hit it...the same way can you park in the back of a parking lot, in the "ding-free" area - and some ******* still manages to ding your door - there's nothing you can do about - just make sure you're driving a car you love in the meantime.

I suggest something like this:

J/K - sorry to hear about your car and good luck with whatever you end up doing.

I hate stupid ******* people who can't drive. My 1990 honda accord was in MINT condition when I bought her 2-3 years ago and since then she has been hit 6 ******* TIMES! none of which were my fault. Stupid bastards.

The prelude has never been touched though If i ever saw someone hit/bump/scratch/door ding/cart ding the prelude I would walk up to their car and say " you should get that fixed"... then when they say " get what fixed", I will bust out ever window/light on their car and **** on the hood when im done.

PS- Stick with a lude. It's not you fault stupid *** people don't know how to drive.
