need help asap PLEASE HELP
I'm going to remove the motor from my car today to put a new clutch in and i can not get the pin out of the shift linkage its rounded out and can not punch it out is there any way i can fix it or get it out anyother way
You know you don't need to remove the motor to change the clutch right? Anyway, if you can't get it out with a punch from below, just unbolt the entire shift linkage from the car and drop it with the tranny. Then you can try and punch the pin out from the top of the linkage.

Trust me YOU can get it out with a punch, you just need to find the Correct size! Go to autozone buy the Great Neck punch set, one the punches works perfect! It will come out easy as butter.

Why did you bump this? You got 2 good responses for your problem, plus if you would have searched for bitch pin or transmission hinge pin or any combination thereof, you would have found even more answers.
