Do i need a camber kit?
I have a 96 teg that i am putting a lip kit on. Im also going to lower it 1.5 inches and I was wondering if I could do it wit just springs or will I run into camber problems?
I'm no expert, but camber isn't necessarily the enemy of tire wear, toe is. Get an alignment, rotate regularly, and you should be fine with camber. If you just hate having wheels look like that, then yes, you need a camber kit.
i've had my prokits on for 8k miles and just rotated my tires, totally fine. had it aligned and the camber was within spec. im also on 16x7 rims with 205x45x16 tires. hope that helps.

No you will not need a camber kit.
<-- Neg. 2.5 or more camber in front since 2002 w/o problems.
However I think I am going to spring for a full Omnipower front and rear adjustable camber setup, and also some rear adjustable toe control links, so that I can dial it in to precisely what I want, probably something like -2 in front and -1.5 in back.

ive got -1.9 in the front dropped 2.25 inches.
i got very good mileage out of my tires.
although the inner edge is the part that usually wears out tthat destroys my tire.
like everyone said, rotate regulary and make sure your toe is properly set.
